Butterflies in the morning sun

There is something about being outside and noticing butterflies playing in the morning sun. Fluttering in circles, chasing each other, I could almost see the smiles and hear their laughter in my head.

me and Talia are weird sometimes we went to the same place we ate lunch souper salad used to be a favorite for me and her and when Chloe came we didn’t really get a chance to, but now as Chloe gets older we have started going out again even just for lunch or dinner its really a nice chance of pace.
this evening the weather was beautiful we drove with the windows down all four while listening to Thelonious Monk. Talia was laughing at Chloe cause her hair was blowing from the wind in the car and she had her eyes closed at the same time, she was scared but enjoying it.
i was driving at the time but i could imagine it in my head and it made me smile.
the sounds of thunder on a saturday morning
me and Chloe sitting here with the sliding door open it rained last night so its nice and cool funny as it rained last night and i awoke to the loud sound of thunder and the car alarms, but Chloe didn’t hear even one of those sounds as she slept through the night.
now we are sitting here listening to Santana going to head out the door in-awhile for some lunch…
sitting at home
There is nothing like friday nights. went and had dinner with my moms. Then went and saw my brother from another mother.
while driving around listening to some nice groovy drum and bass and daft punk blaring from radio1 airwaves, all while driving around with my windows down…a little sticky but you gotta love it.
now im sitting at home listening to some nice hard drum and bass courtesy of DJ EBK…
have a nice weekend people…
Family
the last of all the rolls. 2 days of scanned photos. 80 something all together. not all are here but i did scan 80 something. this last roll i shot with my other camera my good one. i have dropped this camera twice and even dented the side and it still performs beautifully. gotta love the ruggedness of that camera my gangster canonet!
these all are family shots taken out at my grandmothers. she had the whole family over for my dads birthday, every year she has a rosary for him.
this time it was my families first time meeting Chloe. they really don’t venture of the reservation much, so usually we have to go down and see them which is hard at times even though they live in Sacaton.
this woman has been waiting along time for me to have a kiddo and finally she got one from me.
i dont think it was my grandmas.

she yells at people when they try and help her around the house and tell her to eat. only problem is she cant hear all that good so you gotta yell at her.
she was up at 4 that morning cooking chili stew. and she was telling me and Talia her story about that morning and wanting to take a nap but she didn’t get too…
i think i need t flip this frame over…she is on the left now…
On a side note Stuart sure did like her chili stew as well as other food that night. he called me the next day and said he went home and ended up throwing it all up…
he said he felt so awful he slept and he totally hurt himself.

So here we are again another roll of film well actually like 2 combined together. As i said in a earlier post this camera was crap alot of images came out weird blurry, under and overexposed. all i did to them was adjust the brightness and contrast in these. nothing else.

crap cameras
i have been gong through rolls of film all weekend looking at scanned images and im disappointed in all of them…
i used one of my cameras that i never have shot before had it repaired and shot 4 rolls of film through it and then as im sitting here looking at the negs, shots i knew i had focus right on are blurry and shots i knew i metered right for are to dark or to light… all the photos where shot on that camera in the previous blog…
i think the lens is crap
you know it might have to do with the time i dropped it at heather and bens place…
now that i think about it, it probably is……
ohh well live and learn right….
luckily i switched back to my other camera..

babe sitting in the window one of the street photographers rules is dont shoot pics of cats but i thought she looked cool laying there ignoring me and not looking at the camera all mean like she usually does.
and then there are famous movie stars that show up in my rolls! of film!
people might not know who adam beach is but natives sure do..he is also known to natives as Victor and more recently Ira Hayes. maybe i might become one of those famous people that shoot stars…who knows.
here he is leaving the rezervation he was at the boys and girls clubs in west end…just saying hi…
he gave me a shot after i called his name…
we cant have a photo blog without talia and Chloe and my mother in law.
i love this shot. i wish talias mom was better in the frame.
going back to lunch he looked at me mean when he walked by me. he was emptying trash and it was hot and humid i thought it was pretty bad wearing that jumper.

this is “chandler the dog” he lives across the way…sometimes he gets lonely being home alone

sometimes i have to go work in the tribal building and this is what we do when we get bored we play go fish.

abstract nothing
for some time now i have been making alot of abstract pieces honestly i dont know why maybe im just tired of the way graphic design is taking me. some of these things are nice but at the same time i think they are really crappy…
i still love alot of the stuff i see its just me i dont know if im trying to hard or what…
i should try painting or something something to get me away from advertisements and just a screen in general.
i thought i used to be decent at making digital art now its just a blob of color with no sense to it at all.
nothing makes any sense in the digital world around me.
